Traffic-Increasing Campaign

Goal: Increase foot traffic to Olney’s Flowers storefront in Rome, NY.

Challenge: Their website, olneysflowers.com, is constrained by the Floral Network’s wire service requirements that make them compatible with worldwide incoming floral orders for daily deliveries. This means that we cannot change or add to their existing website.

Steps:

  • Optimize social media calendar to direct content creation with appropriate lead time.
  • Retrieve owner-generated photos and videos; edit with Adobe Express, Premier Pro or Photoshop as appropriate, add music, add branding.
  • Create differing dimensions for specific social media channels.
  • Upload tagged for followers and share with select groups to increase non-followers reach.
  • Link social media posts to unique landing page at Olneysgardens.com, a WordPress site I built with SEO in mind. This site compliments their eCommerce website and highlights the many landscaping and live plants that Olney’s sells in person but does not deliver.
  • Use Constant Contact e-mail newsletters to increase reach with the appropriate qualified address lists.
  • Monitor website traffic, social media reach and engagement, and review on-site sales reports refine and optimize to meet our goals.
