Signage: Honoring Tradition with Modern Techniques

When it comes to creating impactful signage, I am proud to carry on a family legacy that dates back to the 1920s. My great-grandfather, Walter Krotzer, was a sign painter during the 1920s and 30s, known for his incredible skill despite a disability. Having his right arm crippled as a child, grandpa faced tremendous challenges. But his determination to provide for his family during the great depression led him to climb ladders while carrying paint cans, hand-painting signs on the sides of barns across the countryside. His commitment to his craft has always inspired me, and I continue to follow in his footsteps, combining tradition with modern techniques.

Today, I specialize in both hand-painted signage and modern signage solutions. Whether it’s painting signs by hand from scaffolding and scissor lifts, or creating vinyl banners, yard signs, and prints on waterproof paper, I take pride in delivering high-quality, durable signage that leaves a lasting impression.

Hand-painted signs, much like those created by my great-grandfather, carry a level of craftsmanship that digital prints can’t quite replace. I use modern conveniences to ensure precision and safety while painting large-scale signs that stand out. These timeless pieces of art offer a unique, vintage look that resonates with many businesses and individuals.

For more modern signage needs, I also create vinyl banners and yard signs—perfect for promoting events, sales, or businesses. I also print on waterproof paper, ensuring that your signs remain vibrant and intact, even in harsh outdoor environments.

Honoring my great-grandfather’s legacy, I continue to create signage that not only communicates but also inspires. If you need a custom sign, whether hand-painted or printed, I am here to bring your vision to life.
